BIG4 Aussie Outback Oasis Holiday Park is the perfect stop over to relax and recuperate at when travelling in North Queensland. Just 1 1\/2 hours from the coast (via Townsville), we are the gateway to the outback. The park offers a wide range of accommodation options for all types of travellers, in caravan and camp sites, and self contained holiday cabins. We are pet friendly so you don’t need to leave your furbaby at home.<\/p>\n

Located only 3km from the town centre, the park is perfectly positioned for full access to all the attractions and tours of Charters Towers, including the Texas Longhorns Tour, Zara Clark Museum, Venus Gold Battery, Tower’s Hill and Miner\u2019s Cottage. Charters Towers is a welcoming country town rich in heritage, with a number of stunning historical buildings. We were a significant town in the Queensland Gold Rush of the late 1800s, and also in during World War Two, and our history reflects that.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

When you’ve finished exploring all that Charters Towers has to offer, Aussie Outback Oasis is an attraction in itself, with a variety of park facilities including a beautiful resort-style swimming pool, playground, jumping pillow, and well-appointed camp kitchen. During our peak season (June to September) we offer meals and entertainment in our rustically appointed Outback’s Muster entertaining area on some nights.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
